Mercedes G63 AMG by Brabus

As if the G Class wasn’t already ostentatious, at the beginning of last year Mercedes-Benz introduced a “Crazy Color” option for the G63 & G65 AMGs. One of the colors available is Solar Beam ($17.318 / €15.348) applied on this G63 which is even more opulent after Brabus installed its Widestar kit. Among the changes we mention the vented hood with a carbon fiber central area and a beefier front bumper with bigger air intakes and an extra set of LED daytime running lights.

Brabus also installed massive 23-inch forged wheels with Yokohama rubbers, custom headlights with a black tint, roof-mounted rear spoiler, and vented rear fenders. The interior has also received the aftermarket treatment with illuminated door sills, black leather upholstery with yellow stitching, Alcantara headliner, and a sportier pedal set.

It wouldn’t be a complete tuning program without some optimizations underneath the hood where the 5.5-liter V8 has been upgraded from 571 horsepower (420 kilowatts) to 700 hp (515 kW). There’s no word about the torque figure of this particular vehicle, but we checked the tuner’s website and found out the package for the G63 bumps torque to 709 pound-feet (960 newton meters) from the standard 561 lb-ft (760 Nm).

The extra punch cuts the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) sprint by half a second to just 4.9 seconds, while top speed increases by 19 mph (30 kph) to 149 mph (240 kph). That’s not too shabby for a vehicle that weighs a hefty 5,621 pounds (2,550 kilograms).

Mercedes S-Class by Brabus

Brabus has introduced a new tuning program for the 2014 Mercedes S-Class. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the car can be equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes new bumpers, revised side skirts and ventilated front fenders. The company will also offer a sports exhaust system, a lowering module (which reduces the ride height by approximately 15mm) and 19-, 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels which can be outfitted with Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires.

Interior pictures were not released but the cabin can be equipped with premium leather or Alcantara upholstery as well as Brabus-branded sill plates and a high-end multimedia system.

For added performance, the 4.7-liter V8 engine in the S500 can be outfitted with a 520 PowerXtra CGI performance kit which enables it to produce 520 HP (382 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of up to 300 km/h (186 mph).

S63 AMG owners can opt for the 650 PowerXtra CGI package which enables the twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine to crank out 650 HP (478 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque.

If that's not powerful enough, the Brabus B63S features new turbochargers, an optimized air intake, a free-flowing exhaust and a revised ECU. Thanks to these modifications the engine develops 730 HP (537 kW) and an electronically-limited 1,065 Nm (785 lb-ft) of torque. Detailed performance specifications were not released but Brabus says the model can hit a limited top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).

Mercedes GL63 AMG by Brabus

Brabus has introduced a new tuning program for the Mercedes GL63 AMG. Looking decidedly aggressive, the model has been equipped with a wide body kit that includes modified bumpers, extended wheel arches and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. The crossover also has a rear diffuser, a stainless steel sports exhaust system, high-performance brakes and a suspension lowering module that reduces the ride height by approximately 30mm (1.2 inches). Last but not least, the model can be equipped with 21-, 22- or 23-inch alloy wheels that can be outfitted with either Yokohama or Pirelli tires.

Interior changes are limited but Brabus adds alloy pedals, aluminum shift paddles and a 320 km/h (200 mph) speedometer. Customers can also order illuminated sill plates, exotic wood trim and bespoke leather or Alcantara upholstery.

The twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine has been equipped with a 620 PowerXtra kit that enables the mill to produce 620 HP (456 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 63 HP (46 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft). This enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph).

Mercedes CLA by Brabus

Brabus has introduced a new tuning program for the Mercedes CLA. Looking tastefully restrained, the model has been equipped with sport springs and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Customers can also order 18- or 19-inch Monoblock alloy wheels which are available in five different designs.

Interior pictures were not released but Brabus says owners can order a bespoke cabin which will be created by their upholstery shop.

For added performance, the CLA 250 can be equipped with a PowerXtra kit that enables the engine to produce 245 HP (180 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 34 HP (25 kW) and 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) of torque.

1993 Bugatti EB110 SS by Brabus

Specialty British dealership Oakfields is selling an ultra-rare Bugatti EB110 Super Sport modified by Brabus for 475,000 GBP (about 740,000 USD / 560,000 EUR). The German aftermarket specialist modified two EB110s but only this one was the lighter and more powerful SS version. Produced in 1993, the vehicle has been fitted with a custom quad exhaust system, blue leather seats and a blue & black leather dashboard.

As a reminder, Bugatti built only 31 units of the SS and all came with a mid-mounted V12 3.5-liter quad-turbo engine outputting 615 bhp (458 kW) mated to a six-speed manual transmission sending those ponies to all four wheels. Lighter than the stock model by about 150 kg (330 lbs), the SS hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 216 mph (348 km/h).

Brabus 800 Roadster based on Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG

Brabus will showcase in Geneva next week the 800 Roadster based on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG. The standard variant is powered by an AMG V12 6.0-liter bi-turbo engine producing 630 HP (463 kW) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. Brabus has tuned this mill to output 800 HP (588 kW) and an impressive 1,047 lb-ft (1,420 Nm) of torque which will be limited to 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm).

While the stock version completes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4 seconds, this heavily modified variant will do it in 3.7 seconds, on its way to an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h) as opposed to the regular model which is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).

Aside from the power boost, Brabus is also offering an aerodynamic body kit for the roadster which has been developed in the wind tunnel. All components are made from carbon fiber and can get a matte or a glossy finish in the body's color.

20-inch alloys are supplied by Brabus with 255/30 ZR20 and 305/25 ZR20 (front/rear) high-performance tires. The ride height can be lowered by about an inch (25mm) thanks to the special control module for the ABC suspension. Other goodies include a limited-slip differential and a fully customized interior with a new speedometer featuring a 360 km/h dial.

Mercedes GL-Class by Brabus

Brabus has introduced their new tuning program for the Mercedes GL-Class at the Essen Motor Show. Starting with the exterior, the model can be equipped with an air suspension module (which lowers the ride height by up to 30mm) and variety of wheels ranging in sizes from 18- to 23-inches. Customers can also order a stainless-steel sports exhaust system and high-performance brakes. While the exterior accessories are limited at the moment, Brabus offers a multitude of interior options. Choices include Mastik leather and Alcantara upholstery as well as exotic wood and carbon fiber trim. There's also illuminated door sill plates and a speedometer that tops out at 320 km/h (200 mph). Under the hood, the GL 350 BlueTEC can be equipped with the ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit which enables the engine to develop 310 HP (228 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the extra oomph, the crossover runs from 0–100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and can hit a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph). Likewise, the GL 500 can be outfitted with the B50-520 performance kit that allows the 4.7-liter V8 to churn out 521 HP (383 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the luxury barge to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 275 km/h (171 mph) with the optional Vmax unit.

2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG by Brabus

Brabus is bringing its latest tuning program for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG to Essen Motor Show. The standard bi-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine of the high performance SUV produces 518 hp (386 kW) and a peak torque of 516 lb-ft (699 Nm). With the Brabus treatment, the power unit generates 611 hp (456 kW) and 604 lb-ft (820 Nm) of torque, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Brabus is also offering a power upgrade for the version with the optional AMG Performance Package that in its stock configuration delivers 550 hp (410 kW) and 560 lb-ft (758 Nm). Power is increased to the same 611 hp and 604 lb-ft. This additional horsepower was made possible by installing a custom stainless steel sport exhaust system and integrating the Brabus PowerXtra module into the engine electronics. They also created front and rear carbon fiber spoilers for reducing lift on both axles. A custom control module for the AIRMATIC suspension is available that lowers the SUV's center of gravity and improves handling. Five wheel designs are offered in sizes of up to 23 inches with high-performance tires.

Brabus G63 AMG

Brabus has prepared an upgrade kit for the latest Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. In typical Brabus tradition, the power of the V8 5.5-liter bi-turbo engine has been increased to 620 HP (456 kW), up from the standard 544 HP (400 kW). In addition, the torque figure is also up by 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) to 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). Aside from the healthy power boost, Brabus installed a new set of huge 23-inch, twin-spoke alloy wheels and painted the brake calipers in yellow. Other highlights include the ride control comfort suspension and valve-controlled exhaust system.

Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake by Brabus

Brabus has released an extensive upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake that brings not only a power boost but a few styling changes as well such as a new front spoiler, front fascia attachments with LED DRLs, side skirts and fenders. The models that feature the AMG sport package can get a new front spoiler lip, while the CLS 63 AMG is available with an additional front spoiler and fender attachments.

The CLS Shooting Brake can ride on a new set of Brabus Monoblock wheels in sizes varying from 8.5Jx17 to 10.5Jx20 and available in six designs. There are also new suspension options created in collaboration with Bilstein that are specifically calibrated to use with low-profile tires and can lower the car by approximately 35mm.

As you would expect, there’s also a power boost via the ECO PowerXtra D4 performance kit that increases the power of the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY by 31 hp (22.8 kW) and lifts torque figure to 446 lb-ft (560 Nm).

The CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY can be equipped with the ECO PowerXtra D6S package that raises the output to 313 hp (230 kW) in sport mode, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.9 seconds.

The CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY has its own tuning kit that produces 500 hp (368 kW) and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm). With the Brabus Vmax unit installed, the car can hit a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

The CLS 63 AMG can generate 619 hp (455 kW) and a peak torque of 663 lb-ft (737 Nm), propelling the car to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h).

Customers can also order a sports exhaust system and Monoblock wheels that are available in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches. To spruce up the cabin, Brabus offers premium leather upholstery, illuminated sill plates, wood / carbon fiber trim and a new speedometer that tops out at 320 km/h or 360 km/h (200 mph or 225 mph). The SL500 (aka 550) can be equipped with a 520 PowerXtra CGI power kit which enables the twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine to produce 520 PS (382 kW / 512 hp) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250, 275 or 300 km/h (155, 172, 186 mph). The car can also be equipped with a limited-slip differential and a revised suspension with sport springs (on the SL 350) or a reprogrammed ABC (Active Body Control) module that reduces the ride height by approximately 25mm.
