Clive Sutton to offer an assortment of performance and styling tweaks.

Clive Sutton has introduced its new tuning program for the Ford Mustang.

Designed specifically for European customers, the tuning program includes an assortment of styling and performance tweaks. 

Speaking of the latter, the entry-level CS350 is powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine which has a cold air intake and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.  These changes enable the car to produce 330 horsepower. 

The mid-level CS500 is based on the Mustang GT and it features a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a cold air intake and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. As a result, the engine's output climbs to 440 hp.

Moving up to the CS700 rewards buyers with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a Whipple supercharger and an upgraded intercooler. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 645 hp.

Buyers looking for something even more powerful can add a larger throttle body, upgraded fuel injectors, and a high-performance pulley.  This enables the CS700 to produce more than 700 hp.

Customers can also order a high-performance braking system, a KW coilover suspension, and a premium audio system.  The company also offers an Appearance package which includes a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber side skirts, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler - among other things.

Ford Mustang Geiger GT 820

Bound to draw attention, the model has been equipped with a carbon fiber body kit that includes an open grille, a front splitter, and sporty side skirts.  The car has also a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and 20-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels that wrapped in high-performance Michelin tires.  Buyers looking for something more unique can order a custom paint job for an additional €5,900 ($6,718).

Bigger changes occur underneath the hood as the 5.0-liter V8 engine has been equipped with a new crankshaft, forged pistons, and steel connecting rods.  The tuning firm also installed a cold air intake system, a stainless steel sports exhaust system, and a 2.9-liter supercharger.  Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 820 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque which is a substantial increase of 385 hp and 160 lb-ft of torque.

Besides the upgraded engine, the Mustang has been equipped with a sport tuned suspension and the GT Performance package which includes Brembo brakes, a limited-slip rear differential, and a 3.73:1 final drive ratio.

A number of the car's components can be purchased individually but the finished model seen here retails for €109,450 ($124,570).

Ford Mustang for SEMA

Ford has announced plans to introduce eight modified Mustangs at SEMA.

Perhaps the most eye-catching example is the DRAGG Mustang which is being billed as the "sexiest police vehicle you will see outside of Dubai."  It features a black and white exterior, a carbon fiber body kit and 20-inch Velgen VMB7 wheels with Nitto Invo tires.  The model also has a custom push bar, a police lighting package and a police communications system.

On the performance front, the model has been equipped with a Vortech Engineering intercooler, an AIRAID intake and Wilwood brakes.  There's also an Air Lift performance suspension and "BAMA tuning" by American Muscle.

Another highlight is the Bisimoto EcoBoost Mustang which features a custom body kit, a coilover suspension and 19-inch Fifteen52 Tarmac with Toyo R888 tires.

Bigger changes occur under the hood as the2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine has been equipped with a Turbonetics BTX7668 turbocharger, forged billet pistons, a new camshaft and a custom exhaust.  The engine also features upgraded fuel injectors, new fuel rails and a MagnaFuel 750 fuel pump.  Other highlights include a Spearco intercooler and an Infinity 6 ECU.  Thanks to all these modifications, the engine will produce 900 bhp (671 kW).

Ford Fusion by 3DCarbon

3DCarbon has introduced their new styling program for the Ford Fusion. Previewed by a concept at last year's SEMA Motor Show, the production body kit costs $995 and includes a front bumper extension, revised side skirts and a sporty rear bumper insert with a faux diffuser and dual exhaust ports that have stainless steel surrounds. Customers can also order a rear deck lid spoiler which costs $130 to $258 depending on whether it is bought individually or as part of a package.

The components are currently available and are made from the "highest quality, high-pressure injection molded urethane from the same suppliers that are used by the OEMs." The components have also undergone rigorous crash testing to ensure they can withstand impacts up to 5 mph (8 km/h) without damaging the bumpers.

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor by TAG Motorsports

TAG Motorsports has finished working on a tuning program for the 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. After Shelby increased output of the 6.2-liter V8 engine from the series 411 bhp (306 kW) to 575 bhp (429 kW), TAG Motorsports is now bringing an even more powerful F-150 SVT Raptor. Equipped with a Roush Stage 2 supercharger system, the eight-cylinder mill is now churning 600 bhp (447 kW).

Aside from the horsepower gain, this modified F-150 SVT Raptor also has a black Corsa exhaust system with QTP electronic exhaust cut-out valve, a Roush boost gauge, Kooks header system and high flow catalytic converters. Other modifications include red-coated bead lock rings, custom embroidered headrests and a Pace Edwards electronic bed cover.

Ford Taurus SHO by Hennessey Performance

The owner of a 2013MY Ford Taurus SHO asked Hennessey Performance to install the MaxBoost445 Performance Upgrade. Power comes from the same 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine but instead of the stock 365 bhp (272 kW) output it now churns 445 bhp (332 kW). It helps the Taurus SHO perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 4.3 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.8 seconds at 109 mph (175 km/h).

The increased output was possible by installing a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, dual cold-air induction system and also by remapping the engine's ECU. Other modifications include serialized dash and engine plaques, "445 Boost" and "Hennessey" badges, along with embroidered headrests. The tuning kit is offered with a one-year / 12,000-mile limited warranty.

Ford Focus ST Tanner Foust Edition by Cobb Tuning

Tanner Foust and Cobb Tuning have teamed up to introduce the Ford Focus ST Tanner Foust Edition.

Set to go on sale later this year, the TFE will come equipped with an optimized ECU, an enlarged intercooler, a sports exhaust system and a revised air intake. These changes will enable the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine to produce 300 bhp (224 kW) which is an increase of 48 bhp (36 kW).

The car will also come equipped with a new grille, body side graphics and carbon fiber accents. We can also expect a sport-tuned suspension and a tire and wheel package.

There's no word on pricing, but the accessories will be available individually or as a multi-stage package.

Ford Focus ST by Wolf Racing

Wolf Racing has developed a significant three-part power boost for the latest Ford Focus ST. Under the hood it has the same turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine which produces 250 HP (184 kW) and 265 lb-ft (360 Nm) in its standard configuration, but output can be raised to 285 HP (209 kW) and 326 lb-ft (441 Nm) via a stage 1 kit which brings a remapped ECU and a new air filter.

Stage 2 comes with all the goodies of the first kit and adds a turbocharger, lifting output to 300 HP (220 kW) and 333 lb-ft (451 Nm). If this isn't enough, Wolf Racing is offering a stage 3 program bundling the previous two along with a custom sports exhaust system. As a result, the EcoBoost engine churns out 370 HP (272 kW) and 409 lb-ft (554 Nm).

Other changes include a coilover suspension which lowers the hot hatchback by 50mm front / 40mm rear, as well as a high-performance brake system. Wolf Racing can also provide new side skirts, headlight covers, rear skirt attachment, roof spoiler lip and other styling enhancements as well.

Ford Focus ST by Hennessey

Hennessey has introduced their new HPE300 package for the Ford Focus ST. Looking virtually identical to the standard model, the car has been equipped with cold air induction system which increases engine's output by approximately 13 rwhp (rear-wheel horsepower). The Focus has also a revised ECU which adds 27 rwhp and 40 lb-ft (54 Nm) of torque.

On the styling front, the car features Hennessey badging and an individually-numbered dash plaque. Customers can also order an optional stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system which adds an additional 7 or 8 rwhp.

The HPE300 package is priced from $995 and production will be limited to 300 units annually.

Ford Focus ST by MS Design Competition

The Geneva Motor Show is still a month away, but that hasn't stopped MS Design from announcing plans to introduce the Ford Focus ST Competition in Switzerland.

On the styling front, the Austrian tuner adds a front spoiler, revised side skirts and a rear diffuser. The model has also been equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels.

There doesn't appear to be any performance modifications, so expect power to be provided by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that develops 250 PS (184 kW / 247 hp) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the standard model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

Ford GT sets 283 mph Guinness World Record for top speed

A custom Ford GT has managed to hit 283.232 mph (455.82 km/h) in a standing mile at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center on NASA’s Shuttle Landing Facility runway. Created by Performance Power Racing, this heavily modified street-legal Ford GT features two turbos and various components made from “pandalloy”. This is an aerospace aluminum alloy developed in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney which is perfect for racing applications thanks to characteristics like reduced weight, high strength and temperature resistance. Pumping out 1,700 hp (1267 kW), this Ford GT has set the Guinness World Record for top speed in a street-legal car by reaching a Tag Heuer-measured 283.232 mph in 5,280 feet (1,609 meters).

2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake

Shelby American has unveiled their Super Snake package for the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500. Set to be showcased at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Las Vegas, the car features a fiberglass hood, a Borla exhaust and 20-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tires. There's also a sport-tuned suspension, Wilwood brakes and an upgraded cooling system. The model can also be equipped with an optional 13-inch wide rear tire and wheel package which was featured on the Carroll Shelby Tribute car that debuted at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Interior changes are limited but include embroidered headrests and floor mats as well as other "Shelby-designed components." The entry-level model has a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine that develops 662 hp (494 kW / 671 PS) and 631 lb-ft (855 Nm) of torque. If that's not powerful enough, the engine can be equipped with a Whipple or Kenne Bell supercharger that enables it to produce a staggering 850 hp (634 kW / 862 PS). Production will be limited to 500 units and pricing starts at $28,995 for the entry-level package. Moving up to the high-performance variant costs a wallet busting $39,995.

Ford Mondeo by Loder1899

The 2013 Ford Mondeo is set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, but that hasn't stopped Loder1899 from creating a new styling package for the current model. Starting with the exterior, the car can be equipped with a front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Customers can also order a lowering kit (which reduces the ride height by 35mm) and 18- / 20-inch alloy wheels. For added performance, models with the 2.2-liter TDCI engine can be tuned to develop 244 PS (179 kW / 241 hp) and 490 Nm (361 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 44 PS (32 kW / 43 hp) and 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).

2013 Shelby GT350 revealed

Shelby American has unveiled the 2013 GT350. Available as a coupe or convertible, the updated model features Recaro seats, a new rear valance, restyled wheels and an extended color palette. The car can also be equipped with an optional panoramic glass roof. Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 430 hp (321 kW / 436 PS). If that's not enough, the engine can be equipped with a supercharger that enables it to develop 525 hp (391 kW / 532 PS) or 624 hp (465 kW / 633 PS). A six-speed manual is standard, but a six-speed automatic is optional on cars equipped with the naturally-aspirated V8. Customers can also order a one-piece driveshaft, a cold air intake, high-performance brakes and a color-coordinated billet aluminum engine cap set. Production will be limited to 350 units and pricing starts at $26,995 (€21,305 / £17,210) - not including the base price of the Ford Mustang GT.

LAS VEGAS - June 28, 2012 - Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), has announced the changes for its limited edition 2013 Shelby GT350. New color options, visual styling cues and optional performance upgrades will distinguish the third model year of Shelby GT350 production from previous model year cars. The 2013 Shelby GT350 will be available as either a coupe or convertible in the entire color palette offered by Ford Motor Company on the Mustang.
"The Shelby GT350 is one of the world's most celebrated and iconic modern muscle cars," said John Luft, president of Shelby American. "For the third model year of the contemporary Shelby GT350, we've further refined the car with options and equipment requested by enthusiasts. The Shelby American team is following Carroll Shelby's playbook to continue building high performance cars and parts designed to keep our customers at the front of the fast lane."
For the first (2011) model year Shelby GT350, the coupes were clad in white with blue stripes, just as Shelby American did with the initial car in 1965. In 2012, three more colors (red, blue and anniversary black/gold), as well as a convertible option were offered; this is similar to the options offered by Shelby American in 1966.
For the 2013 model year, Shelby American again matches tradition with expanded color options, equipment choices and styling changes, while performance improvements remain intact. The GT350 will be available in all of Ford's standard colors offered on the Mustang: Grabber Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, "Gotta Have It" Green, Candy Red Tint Coat Metallic, Ingot Silver Metallic, "Deep Impact" Blue Metallic (replaces Kona Blue Metallic), Race Red, Performance White and Black. Customers can choose between Satin Black or Gloss White stripes (a first since 1970) or Azure Blue Metallic on Performance White and Ingot Silver Metallic vehicles to be paired with new wheels in Satin Black or Bright Silver Metallic. Other styling cues for 2013 include a glass roof option, Recaro Seats and a modified custom rear valance.
"The Shelby GT350's rich history is well-documented," added Shelby American Vice President of Production Gary Davis. "People who value that heritage asked us to repeat Shelby history with new options this year. The Shelby GT350 is a post-title program based on the Ford Mustang GT. The 2013 Shelby GT350 performance specs will be continued from the 2012 model year. Customers can choose a 430 HP normally aspirated, and either a Ford Racing supercharged 525 HP or 624 HP version. An automatic transmission is optional with the normally aspirated engine, while a short throw shifter is standard for the manual on any of the models. For 2013, options include a one piece drive shaft, more powerful brakes, cooling enhancements, interior upgrades and a color coordinated billet aluminum engine cap set. A new cold air package for the normally aspirated engine will be available to boost the GT350's output to about 450 horsepower.
The 2013 Shelby GT350 post-title package starts at $26,995.00 (normally aspirated) and $33,995.00 (supercharged), not including the base car. 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang

Roush has quietly unveiled their new tuning packages for the 2013 Ford Mustang.Starting with the Stage 1 package, the tuner installs an aerodynamic body kit with a front splitter, a revised grille and a hood scoop. There's also a rear spoiler, extended side skirts and a rear diffuser insert. The Stage 2 package adds a sport-tuned suspension with new springs, twin-tube shocks and a larger front stabilizer bar. There's also 18-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Cooper RS3 high-performance tires. Lastly, the Stage 3 Mustang includes all the aforementioned equipment as well as a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 565 hp (421 kW / 573 PS) and 505 lb-ft (683 Nm) of torque. Inside, the cabin has unique instrumentation, embroidered floor mats and special badging. The 2013 Roush Mustangs will start arriving at dealerships later this month and they will have a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
