XXX-Performance is back with another flashy tuning program for the Audi R8 after last year’s aftermarket program. The 2012 tuning job came with a striking "bilious green" paint scheme
while this R8 5.2 FSI quattro has blue CFC chrome wrapping. It comes
with a wide body kit with new components such as roof scoop, rear
diffuser, side blades and external mirrors – all of which can be wrapped
in carbon.
This particular R8 has full LED headlamps and taillights, along with
an H&R coilover kit which has lowered the supercar more than it was
necessary, but at least the driver can adjust the vehicle's height by
pushing a button. There's virtually no room left in the wheel houses as
this R8 rides on 20-inch Forgiato wheels shod in 235/50 front and 325/25
rear Hankook tires.
By installing a carbon air-box and doing some software tweaks,
XXX-Performance was able to lift output to 650 bhp (485 kW). There's
also a valve control system to regulate the loudness of the exhaust
system.
