Like a fine wine, some vehicles get more exclusive with age, and it
seems the Audi S8 (D3) is already making us nostalgic. As one of only
two S car to have a V10 engine under its hood, the tuning market is
starting to look its way. Only two years since production ended, used S8s are finding their way
to new owners for the second or third time. And those who are picking
up these vehicles are most likely to be much younger and tuner friendly
than the original folks who bought the vehicles new. As a result,
Anderson Germany has recognized this trend and has put together a new
tuning program for the aluminum chassis vehicle. Dubbed the Superior Grey Edition, the Lamborghini derived 5.2-liter
V10 with 450 PS (444 bhp / 331 kW) gets a reprogrammed ECU and new
exhaust for an output increase of 58 PS (57 bhp / 43 kW). On the outside, the body receives a matte grey wrap, carbon fiber
grille surround, full body kit with LED DRLs, gloss black 22-inch wheels
with Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 tires, vented fenders and carbon fiber
mirror housings. Inside, wood trim is replaced with carbon fiber and the upholstery is redone in quilted leather and Alcantara.
