Carlsson has introduced a new tuning program for the Mercedes B-Class. Starting with the exterior, the model can be equipped with an
aerodynamic body kit that includes a front spoiler, revised side skirts,
a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a new rear bumper with an integrated
diffuser. The tuner also offers lowering springs (which reduce the ride
height by 30mm), a four-tailpipe stainless steel sports exhaust system
and unique alloy wheels in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches.
Interior changes are limited but customers can order alloy pedals,
tailored floor mats and special door pins. The company can also create a
bespoke cabin with premium leather upholstery, among other things.
On the performance front, the B180 can be tuned to produce 146 HP
(107 kW). The B200, on the other hand, can be massaged to develop 187 HP
(138 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. Lastly, the B250 can be
upgraded to produce 253 HP (186 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.
