AC Schnitzer has introduced their new tuning program for the BMW 4-Series Coupe. Starting with the exterior, the model can be equipped with a sports
exhaust system, an adjustable "racing" suspension and lowering springs
that reduce the ride height by approximately 25mm. The company also
offers a variety of wheels in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches.
Interior upgrades include alloy pedals, an aluminum iDrive cover and
velour floor mats. Customers can also buy an aluminum or leather-wrapped
gear knob.
Under the hood, the BMW 428i can be tuned to produce 294 HP (216 kW)
while the 435i can be massaged to develop 360 HP (265 kW). Even the 420d
can be upgraded to produce 218 HP (160 kW) which is an increase of 34
HP (25 kW).
