The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
already puts up some impressive numbers but that hasn't stopped
Geigercars from introducing a new tuning program for the American muscle
car. Billed as the "perfect driving machine," the Camaro LS9 features a
revised grille, racing-inspired tow hooks and 19- / 20-inch Goysar
wheels with Michelin Cup tires. The model also has a sports exhaust
system, a KW racing suspension and a beefier rear axle.
Under the hood, the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine has been
equipped with new pistons, upgraded camshafts and a new crankshaft. The
company also installs a larger intercooler and optimized cylinder heads.
Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 780 HP (574 kW) and
984 Nm (725 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the coupe to accelerate from
0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 338 km/h (210 mph) and run
the quarter mile in 11.9 seconds.
The conversion costs €138,090 ($188,670) which brings the cost of the whole vehicle up to €189,000 ($258,230).
