TECHART has prepared an evolution of its Magnum tuning program created specifically for the Porsche Cayenne.
Porsche is hard at work testing the third-gen Cayenne,
but the current model still has some life in it which is why tuners are
always trying to find new ways to customize it. The latest example
comes from TECHART and its Magnum package which proposes a wide body
conversion for Stuttgart’s flagship SUV. It’s more than just for show as
the tuner says the aerodynamic efficiency has improved and there’s also
better cooling along with optimized heat dissipation.
Reworked front and rear bumpers along with beefier side skirts give
the Cayenne a more imposing presence while the carbon fiber add-ons
boost the high-performance SUV’s appeal further. The hood is made
entirely from this lightweight yet very durable material which has also
been applied on the prominent roof-mounted spoiler at the back.
A set of 22-inch Formula IV wheels completes the look and can be
matched with color-coordinated brake calipers which can also be had with
a matte or multi-color finish. TECHART is providing a custom air
suspension module and an automatic parking level function which will
lower the Cayenne once the car is locked to create “a powerful
appearance.”
Sky’s the limit as far as interior customizations are concerned as
you can choose from a multitude of materials for the upholstery,
including leather and Alcantara. A three-spoke sports steering wheel is
also available along with personalized instrument dials, carbon fiber
trim, custom illuminated door entry guards, and a sports pedal set.
TECHART also has several power packages for the Porsche
Cayenne, increasing the Diesel’s output by 28 hp (21 kW) while the S
Diesel gains an extra 35 hp (26 kW.) The meaner GTS receives an increase
of 40 hp (20 kW) while the Turbo can be upgraded to a massive 700 hp
(522 kW) and 679 lb-ft (920 Nm.) The latter will need just 4.1 seconds
for the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) task and is going to max out at 183 mph
(295 kph.) These power upgrades can be paired with a sports exhaust
system providing a more aggressive soundtrack and packing carbon fiber
tips.
