GrandGT based on Porsche Panamera by TECHART

German tuner TECHART has done a comprehensive tuning job on the Porsche Panamera it now calls the GrandGT and the car will make its debut at the Zurich auto show in Switzerland next month.

First off is the previously seen TA 070/T1 power upgrading kit, which dials things up to 580 PS (426 kW / 572 bhp) on the 4.8 liter twin-turbo engine, up from the series' 500 PS (368 kW / 493 bhp). Torque is also increased to 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) from the standard 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.8 seconds.

But given that the tuning outfit is called TECHART, then the visuals here should be something to look at. The tuner provides a body kit made of a fibre-reinforced material which is a composite of carbon, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic and polyurethane RIM components. The kit includes a front bumper with integrated splitter ventilation intake. LED daytime running lights are also embedded in the front bumper.

A TECHART Aero carbon fibre bonnet with integrated air outlets makes the GrandGT stand out as do the side skirts and fender flares which widen the car by 21 mm at the front wheel arches and 42 mm at the rear axle.

The tuner also provides its own sport exhaust system and a choice of light-alloy wheels ranging in size from 20 to 22-inches.
