Erftstadt-based tuner MR Car Design has developed a tuning program for the Mazda3 MPS. The standard version comes with a 2.3-liter turbo engine developing
260 hp (191 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque at 3,000 rpm, but after
the tuner worked its software magic it now outputs 310 hp (231 kW). The
50 hp (37 kW) power increase is available for 699 euros. MR Car Design is also offering a downpipe with or without catalytic
convertor, along with a cat-back exhaust system. A KW coilover
suspension and Qxigin 14-inch alloys are part of the package, plus a
Forge Intercooler including all turbo hoses.
