DMC has officially unveiled their Ferrari 458 Spider Elegante. Described as a "massive improvement," the car features an aerodynamic
body kit with a front splitter, extended side skirts and a rear
spoiler. The model has also been equipped with a ventilated hood, carbon fiber mirror caps, sport springs and 21- / 22-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli Sport tires.
Interior pictures were not released but DMC says the cabin can be
outfitted with premium leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim and a new
steering wheel.
The 4.5-liter V8 engine has been upgraded with an optimized ECU and a
stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to these modifications it
develops 608 HP (447 kW) and 568 Nm (419 lb-ft) of torque - an increase
of 38 HP (28 kW) and 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).
