Heico Sportiv Volvo V40 T5 HPC

Heico Sportiv has fully revealed the Volvo V40 T5 HPC. It's based on the all-wheel drive Cross Country variant of the Volvo V40 and is powered by the same five-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. However, the exhaust system, turbocharger, charge-air system and intercooler have been overhauled. As a result of these changes, output was increased from the series 254 HP (187 kW) to 320 HP (235 kW). Torque has been lifted from 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) to 510 Nm (376 lb-ft).
Moreover, the engine can develop up to 350 HP (257 kW) when the water-ethanol injection system is activated by pressing an illuminated stainless steel button located on the steering wheel. Once turned on, the Volvo V40 T5 HPC will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 164 mph (265 km/h).
Aside from the additional power, this modified V40 also benefits from Heico Sportiv's sport suspension which has lowered the car by 30mm. It rides on 19-inch alloys wrapped around in 235/35 R19 tires, while the stopping power comes from a six-piston sport brake system with 370mm perforated discs.
The Volvo V40 T5 HPC is wearing Heico's body kit manufactured from lightweight, polyurethane plastic and covered in a matte toxic green film offset by the lateral black decorative stripes. Moving inside the cabin we find Recaro body-hugging sport seats, a sport steering wheel with fixed paddle shifters, Alcantara-wrapped handbrake and gearshift, aluminum pedals and green stitching.
There aren't any plans at this moment for a production model but if there's enough demand then Heico Sportiv might change its mind. Individual parts will be available in the near future at yet undisclosed prices.
