Volkswagen Beetle by ABT

ABT has revised its aftermarket kit for the Volkswagen Beetle which brings not only cosmetic tweaks but also power boosts for some of the engines. It was about a year ago when ABT showed us their modified Beetle and now they are back with new products. Their aerodynamic kit includes a redesigned front spoiler and headlight/taillight covers, along with a two-pipe exhaust system and a 30mm lowered ride height thanks to the new suspension springs. Exterior paint colors include matte mystic anthracite, gunmetal and silver bullet, while wheel sizes vary from 18 to 20 inches in combination with high-performance tires.
In terms of engines, the 2.0 TSI with its standard 200 HP (147 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) can be bumped to 240 HP (176 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft). The smaller 1.4 TSI packs 160 HP (118 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) in stock configuration but ABT can squeeze 210 HP (154 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. For the 1.2 TSI with its 105 HP (77 kW) and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft), ABT can increase output to 140 HP (103 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft)
If you prefer diesels, the 2.0 TDI with 140 HP (103 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) can churn 170 HP (125 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft). Lastly, the 1.6 TDI can receive a power hike from 105 HP (77 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) to 125 HP (92 kW) and 285 Nm (210 lb-ft).
