Kleemann has introduced a new tuning program for the Mercedes SLS AMG. Designed to give the model "brutal power," the package includes a
billet aluminum supercharger with a black anodized finish. Customers can
also order a stainless sports exhaust system that has a bolt-on cat
back system, a dual mid-muffler, an "X" section and a remote control
flapper that allows for everything from "neighbor friendly sound levels
to the sound of a race car."
Thanks to all these modifications, the 6.3-liter V8 engine produces
770 HP (566 kW) and 845 Nm (623 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 199 HP
(146 kW) and 195 Nm (143 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to
accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.3 seconds and
onto a rev-limited top speed of 356 km/h (221 mph).
