MR Car Design has developed an aftermarket kit for the modern Volkswagen Beetle which includes a custom air suspension. The piece of resistance is a fully electronic air suspension provided
by G-Ride fitted on both axles that can be adjusted via a remote
control or left entirely automatic. This particular Volkswagen Beetle
rides on multi-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels shod in 225/35 R19 tires but
the tuner is offering a rich array of wheels + tires combinations.
Also part of the package is a power boost for the 2.0-liter TDI
engine which can be modified to produce as much as 210 HP (154 kW) and
420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque with help from software optimization. These
software tweaks offered by MR Car Design come with a lifetime warranty, while their custom exhaust systems have a five- to ten-year warranty.
