G-Power has prepared a new tuning program tailored to the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe. Known for its numerous packages engineered for BMWs, G-Power has decided to do things a bit differently and work on a Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe which has gained the tuner’s Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power upgrade. Once the kit is implemented, the biturbo 5.5-liter V8 is upgraded from the series 585 horsepower (430 kilowatts) to a massive 705 hp (518 kW.) In addition, the torque is also significantly bumped from 664 pound-feet (900 newton meters) to a monstrous 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm.)
The added power has slashed 0.1 seconds from the 0-62 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) sprint time which now takes only 3.8 seconds. As for the top speed, it now stands at a respectable 205 mph (330 kph) once the electronic 155 mph Vmax limiter is removed.
All these figures are attainable by simply installing a plug & play unit which also brings better throttle response while all of the engine’s protections and diagnostic functions remain intact. In addition, G-Power mentions factory software updates will not have an impact on the power kit which can be easily removed without any consequences.
G-Power is asking €5,589 for the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 and customers can also opt for a new 21-inch forged alloy wheel set for an additional €7,373. Each wheel weighs as little as 25.1 pounds (11.4 kilograms) and comes paired with a 265/30 R21 tire in the front and 295/30 R21 for the rear axle. If you want to go all out, the tuner also has on offer a 23-inch wheel and you can select from various colors and optional diamond cut or high polished finish.
