OK-Chiptuning has released a tuning program for the Porsche 996 inspired by the 1991 German movie Manta, Manta. Power of the engine was increased to 650 HP (478 kW) and 750 Nm (553
lb-ft) of torque via revised turbochargers and larger injection valves.
Other modifications include a bigger fuel pump, new 5-bar fuel pressure
regulator and a custom exhaust system sporting 70mm tubes.
The 996 sits on 19-inch TechArt wheels priced at 800 EUR, including
the 235/35 R19 and 305/30 R19 tires. OK-Chiptuning also installed a KW
stage 3 coilover suspension, a Techart rear spoiler, while inside there
are Recaro seats. Lastly, the three-color foliation comes from Cam Shaft
Premium Wrapping and costs 2,600 EUR.
