Alpha-N Performance has released a new aftermarket program for the now defunct BMW M3 Coupe (E92). Displacement of the V8 engine has increased from 4.0 to 4.6 liters
which bumped output from 420 HP (309 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) to 490
HP (360 kW) and 346 lb-ft (470 Nm). With the top speed limiter
deactivated, this M3 is capable of reaching a top speed of 196 mph (315
km/h).
Aside from engine modifications, the car has received a full carbon
fiber body kit with different bumpers, wider fenders, side skirts and
rear diffuser. Other changes include a redesigned hood, boot lid and
Kevlar wheel house liners. The tuner also installed an Öhlins coilover
suspension system and 19-inch S3 alloy wheels wrapped around in Hankook
Ventus S1 Evo tires.
For the interior cabin, Alpha-N Performance installed Recaro
Sportster CS seats, applied Fischer upholstery and an Alcantara lining
for the boot.
