JE Design has prepared a customization package for the recently launched 2013 Seat Leon SC. Revealed several months ago at the Geneva Motor Show, the three-door
Leon coupe is already the project for a tuning company as JE Design has
modified the range-topping diesel FR version. The 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter
turbodiesel churns 184 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) in its
standard configuration, but the engineers worked their magic and bumped
output to 210 HP (154 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque.
The added power has lowered the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time
from 7.5 to 6.9 seconds while top speed has remained the same at 142 mph
(228 km/h). To match the increased output, JE Design is offering a
carbon-look aerodynamic package with a front spoiler, side skirts and a
rear skirt insert. Both sides of the rear come with twin stainless steel
tailpipes while the ride height has been dropped by 30mm. Other goodies
available include and adjustable KW coilover suspension, a couple of
18-inch alloys and high-performance tires. JE Design mentions these upgrades are available for the five-door hatchback as well.
