Lumma Design has introduced its latest aftermarket program for the BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible. The kit starts out with a widebody which can be fitted not only on
the M6 models but also on the regular 640i, 650i and 640d versions. Part
of this package is an enlarged front spoiler with bigger air intakes,
carbon fiber hood, wider wheel arches and a rear diffuser with a quad
exhaust setup. Lumma has designed new 21-inch alloys and a rear wing
available in a smaller size as well.
The BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible come with a V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo
engine developing 560 HP (412 kW) in standard configuration, but Lumma
has prepared three upgrade stages increasing output to 630 HP (463 kW),
640 HP (471 kW) and 660 HP (485 kW). The most powerful kit lifts peak
torque from the series 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) to 820 Nm (605 lb-ft),
enabling both M6s to reach a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h) while the
standard M6s with M Driver's Package can do 189 mph (305 km/h).
