BMW 1-Series M Coupe tuned by LEIB Engineering

There's no shortage of tuning packages for the BMW 1-Series M Coupe, but that hasn't stopped LEIB Engineering from taking a crack at it. Dressed in a matte grey foil wrap, the car has been equipped with a carbon fiber trunk-lid spoiler, an Alpha-N diffuser, a Bilstein sport suspension and 20-inch Bavaria BC5 Concave wheels with Yokohama Advan Sport tires.

While the car's styling won't win everyone over, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine has been equipped with an optimized ECU and a Supersprint sports exhaust system. This enables it to produce 400 HP (298 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 60 HP (44 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

The model can also be equipped with larger turbochargers, a "suction system" and a completely revised cooling and exhaust system. These modifications enable the engine to produce more than 500 HP (367 kW) and 600 Nm (442 kW) of torque.

BMW GT 300 by Leib Engineering

Following the successful launch of the M3 GT 500, Leib Engineering has announced plans to offer a new GT 300 variant. Based on the BMW 325i (E92), the GT 300 is distinguished by a carbon fiber front spoiler, a matte black rear diffuser and 19-inch BBS CH-R wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires. The tuner also installs an adjustable KW coilover suspension and a high-performance braking system with discs that measure 338mm front / 324mm rear.

Interior changes are limited, but models equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission are outfitted with black anodized gear shift paddles.

Under the hood, there's a new intake manifold and a revised ECU which enables the engine to produce an additional 77 HP (57 kW). If that's not powerful enough, an optional sports exhaust system can contribute an extra 15 HP (11 kW).

Leib M3 GT 500 based on BMW M3

Leib Engineering recently launched an upgrade kit for the BMW M3 E92. They installed a proprietary high-grade steel exhaust system with a 100-cell HJS catalyzer and an X-pipe with middle silencers, end muffler and an M-key to control the sound. It lifted the output of the engine by 27.5 bhp (20.5 kW) while via engine software they were able to squeeze an additional 25 bhp (18.6 kW), for a grand total of 470 bhp (350 kW).

To stop the car efficiently the tuner fitted a Brembo braking kit with six-piston calipers and 380 x 32mm discs on the front axle and four-piston calipers with 320 x 28mm discs at the back. The high-performance coupe rides on 19-inch BMW M220 forged alloys with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup semi-slicks measuring 235/35 R19 front and 265/30 R19 rear.

In addition, Leib Engineering has developed a software update for the dual clutch gearbox and they say shifting times have been reduced. The ABS software was also tweaked and should enable shorter braking distances as it was customized to work specifically with semi-slicks.
