The latest tuning program for the Nissan GT-R comes from Switzer
Performance as this week they've unveiled the P600 PKG that increases
the output of the engine from the standard 545 hp to 600 hp. To gain the
extra power, the tuners had to install their own high-flow filters, a
free-flowing SS90 exhaust and update the ECU software. That new exhaust
system also makes the powerful twin-turbo V6 3.8-liter engine sound
better. Thanks to these hardware modifications, the 2012 Nissan GT-R P600 PKG
by Switzer Performance can do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 2.6 seconds.
There aren't any styling changes to the GT-R but at least the car now
rides on a fresh new set of Switzer Signature series lightweight forged
aluminum wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Supersport tires that
according to the tuner improve the vehicle's handling capabilities and
also provide a better ride quality. All these goodies are priced at $12,990.
