Nissan Navara NP300 by Severn Valley Motorsport

Severn Valley Motorsport has fitted the Navara with an 800-hp V6 engine. 

The Nissan Navara NP300 is not exactly what you would call tuning material, but that hasn’t stopped Shropshire-based SVM from turning it into a monster. Gone is the bi-turbodiesel 2.3-liter engine as the pickup truck in Double Cab guise has made the switch to the mighty biturbo 3.8-liter V6 taken from a GT-R R35.

Don’t think the work stopped there as the aftermarket specialists also bumped its output considerably. A regular 2017 GT-R puts out 565 horsepower, but in this modified Navara the six-cylinder churns a massive 800 hp. If that’s not impressive enough, Severn Valley Motorsport says it’s possible to squeeze a Bugatti Chiron-matching 1,500 hp.

Besides the engine transplant, the modified Navara has Godzilla’s dual-clutch six-speed transmission and all-wheel drive system. That being said, SVM mentions “anything is possible” and it can even install a manual gearbox sending all that power to the rear axle. It depends on how much customers are willing to spend, with pricing kicking off at approximately £175,000 ($251,840) before value added tax.

All in all, what SVM is doing is downright insane in the best possible way. The modified Navara is even more impressive than Nissan’s own bonkers Juke-R which also has the GT-R’s engine, but “only” with 600 hp. Luke Anthony from SVM says “we are open to the craziest of ideas”, so sky’s the limit when it comes to turning the Navara workhorse into a mind-blowingly fast machine.

Nissan Juke Nismo by Senner Tuning

Senner Tuning has taken the wraps off their customized Nissan Juke Nismo. Dubbed the Juke Sport Box, the model has been equipped with candy red carbon fiber mirror caps, lowering springs (which reduce the ride height by 35mm) and 20-inch Barracuda Tzunamee wheels that are wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires. The crossover also has Philips Silver Vision Chromium lights and a park distance control system.

For added performance, the tuner installed a high-flow air filter, an optimized ECU and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to these modifications, the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine develops 225 HP (165 kW) and 275 Nm (202 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 25 HP (18 kW) and 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) of torque.

The crossover is currently on sale and Senner Tuning is asking €37,650 ($50,605) for it.

Switzer ClubSport GT-R

Switzer Performance has developed yet another aftermarket program for their favorite car, the Nissan GT-R. This latest kit is described by the Ohio-based tuner as the "most track-focused Nissan GT-R" and is essentially a combination between the Ultimate Street Edition's engine (nearly 1,000 bhp) mixed with other upgrades developed over the years.

For an additional 29,900 USD over the USE GT-R you'll get an aerodynamic body kit, track-biased suspension, beefier brakes with carbon-nano brake pad compound, composite racing seats, as well as track-designed Toyo R888 tires. The aforementioned aero kit encompasses a rear wing, front splitter and hood which have all been made from carbon fiber.

Nissan Sunny by DC Design

DC Design has completely modified the interior cabin of the Nissan Sunny (aka Versa Sedan). After working on the Renault Duster, DC Design focused their attention on the Nissan Sunny and made a wide array of modifications to the interior. They removed the middle seat and replaced it with a full-length armrest, while instead of the rear bench there are two individual seats which can be electrically adjusted.

In addition, the front passenger seat can be folded flat and there's a big LCD behind the driver's seat. The cabin is now wearing red leather upholstery, and DC Design says the interior provides the same level of comfort you get from cars which are ten times more expensive than the Sunny/Versa Sedan.

This type of customization is already available, but they haven't released any pricing details.

Nissan Note by Impul

Impul has introduced a new tuning program for the Nissan Note. On the styling front, the model can be equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes an aggressive front bumper, a revised grille and sporty side skirts. The kit also adds front fender vents, an insane rear fascia and a massive rear wing. Customers can also order carbon fiber mirror casings and 17-inch alloy wheels.

For added performance the company offers a revised ECU which promises to "increase maximum power" and improve fuel efficiency. No performance specifications were released, but the firm also developing an upgraded power kit which includes the revised ECU as well as a new throttle valve.

Last but not least, Impul offers Ohlins adjustable shocks, sport springs, a sports exhaust system and high-performance brakes.

Nissan GT-R by Jotech Motorsports

Jotech Motorsports has unveiled a specially-modified Nissan GT-R that was built for a Brazilian customer. Equipped with the company's stage two package, the GT-R features an upgraded engine with new fuel injectors, iridium spark plugs and dual fuel pumps. There's also polished aluminum air intakes, K&N air filters and an HKS stainless steel exhaust system.

The model is also equipped with a Cobb Access Port that comes preloaded with special engine mapping software which enables the GT-R to run on petrol or E85. Thanks to these modifications, the model produces 550-570 WHP on 93 octane and 580-600 WHP on E85.

Despite the impressive performance, the kit is relatively affordable as Jotech only charges $10,250 (€7,750) which includes installation.

2012 Nissan GT-R by Vilner

Vilner has prepared a customized interior cabin for the 2012 Nissan GT-R. The program starts out with a "starry sky" headliner featuring LEDs and continues with the use of leather and Alcantara in black and crimson colors. Seats are black with red bands on the borders and come with red stitching for creating rhomboid forms.

The same technique was used by Vilner for the doors, ceiling, steering wheel and other panels. All plastic elements have received a black piano varnish look, while the rearview mirror is wrapped in Alcantara. The steering wheel also has a few elements in black piano varnish, along with the center console and door panels that have red bands. The owner of this 2012 Nissan GT-R also wanted an iPad with a stand for it.

Nissan GT-R II by Vivid Racing

The tuners at Vivid Racing have prepared an upgrade program for the Nissan GT-R that brings a power boost and some other mechanical changes. The first thing that they did is lower the suspension of the supercar by installing a KW Variant 3 coilover setup and then they installed a fresh new set of 3-piece 21-inch Niche alloy wheels with tinted brushed centers and a gloss black lip, wrapped around in Pirelli PZero performance rubbers.

The powerful V6 twin-turbo 545 hp (406 kW / 553 PS) engine of the Nissan GT-R has received an ECU tune courtesy of Cobb Accessport that increases the power by 60 hp for a total of 605 hp (451 kW  / 613 PS), while the titanium catback exhaust comes from Agency Power and features quad tips and a lightweight design, with the muffler section weighing just 15 lbs (7 kg).

2012 Nissan GTR P600 PKG by Switzer

The latest tuning program for the Nissan GT-R comes from Switzer Performance as this week they've unveiled the P600 PKG that increases the output of the engine from the standard 545 hp to 600 hp. To gain the extra power, the tuners had to install their own high-flow filters, a free-flowing SS90 exhaust and update the ECU software. That new exhaust system also makes the powerful twin-turbo V6 3.8-liter engine sound better. Thanks to these hardware modifications, the 2012 Nissan GT-R P600 PKG by Switzer Performance can do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 2.6 seconds. There aren't any styling changes to the GT-R but at least the car now rides on a fresh new set of Switzer Signature series lightweight forged aluminum wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Supersport tires that according to the tuner improve the vehicle's handling capabilities and also provide a better ride quality. All these goodies are priced at $12,990.

Nissan Juke by Senner Tuning

If the $590,000 (€450,000) Nissan Juke-R is a little out of your price range, you might want to check out the latest package from Senner Tuning. Jointly developed with Autohaus Morchel, the package includes lowering springs (that reduce the ride height by 35mm), carbon fiber mirror caps and 20-inch alloy wheels with candy red accents. For added performance, the tuner installed a high-flow air filter and a sports exhaust system with four 90x75mm tailpipes. This enables the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine to produce 225 PS (165 kW / 222 hp) and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 35 PS (26 kW / 35 hp) and 35 Nm (26 lb-ft). The model will be priced from €32,730 which includes €7,490 worth of tuning and accessories.

Nissan Skyline V36 / Infiniti G37 by Wald International

Wald International has unleashed their Sports Line Black Bison Edition body styling once again. This time the firm from Osaka, Japan has paid homage to the Infiniti G37 sedan (aka Nissan Skyline V36 in Japan) with a comprehensive styling package which consists of a front bumper fascia with LED DRLs, flat black grille with matching Infiniti emblem, side skirts, luggage lid spoiler and rear bumper fascia with integrated brake light and cut outs for fitted quad exhaust pipes. In the photos we can see Wald is showing off their classic Mahora wheel in addition to two new sets from their Portofino P21C casted wheel line which is only available 20-inch size. As for the final touches, Wald also provides a lowered suspension and sport exhaust system.
