Walkinshaw Performance has introduced their first supercharger packages for the Holden VF Commodore and HSV Gen-F lineup. Designed to offer "terrific performance and value for money," the
packages include an Eaton supercharger, an intercooler and a custom cold
air intake. There's also high-flow fuel injectors, a stainless steel
sports exhaust system and cast aluminum coil covers. Other highlights
include a heavy-duty serpentine belt drive system, a self-contained
oiling system and ceramic coated headers.
Thanks to these modifications, the W457 package enables the VF
Commodore's 6.0-liter V8 engine to produce 621 HP (457 kW) and 780 Nm
(575 lb-ft) of torque. Likewise, the W497 package allows the HSV Gen-F's
6.2-liter V8 to crank out 675 HP (497 kW) and 955 Nm (704 lb-ft) of
torque.
Both packages are currently available and pricing starts at $18,990 AUD ($18,095 / €13,415 / £11,380).
